Be aware that anyone may enter the Secret Cow Level through the cow portal. By definition the Kingslayer is the character that lands the killing blow on the Cow King (if a mercenary or any other friendly unit delivers the final blow, it counts for the character (s)he/it serves). Suppose the cow portal has been created and someone (henceforth: “Kingslayer”) kills the Cow King. There is a slight downside, however: completing this quest disables the Horadric recipe used to create the cow portal, for that character on that difficulty setting. By killing The Cow King, players won't be able to create another portal to the Secret Cow Level. Its only available after finishing the game on that difficulty. The Secret Cow Level can be accessed through a portal that, to be created, it requires Wirt's Leg FROM THAT DIFFICULTY and a Tome of Town Portal in the Horadric Cube to be combined while the player is on Rogue Encampment. Secret Cow Level has the following area levels depending on the difficulty: Normal: 28, Nightmare: 64, Hell: 81. Secret Cow Level is a Location in Diablo 2. There are no quests related to this location.
